Can penile cancer be cured?

Penile cancer is one of the common malignant tumors of the male reproductive system. It is called "Kidney Rock" in traditional Chinese medicine. Because it ruptures over time and turns into pomegranate-like flowers, it is also called "turnover chancre". This kind of disease will cause great damage to the patient's human body, and if not treated in time, it may also cause the tumor cells to spread to other areas. So can penile cancer be cured?

1. TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment

(1) Liver Qi stagnation and phlegm coagulation syndrome

Main symptoms: Some hard joints appear in the beginning, like a vertical flesh, the body is small and hard, no pain or slight pain, and some are itchy. It is accompanied by distension and discomfort in the hypochondrium, discomfort in the lower abdomen, pale or red tongue, white and greasy coating, and heavy pulse.

Treatment: Soothe the liver, regulate qi, clear liver fire, resolve knots, relieve cough and reduce phlegm.

2) Liver meridian damp-heat syndrome

Main symptoms: In the middle and late stage of the disease, the hard lump is ruptured and looks like a rolled flower, and there are sometimes thick blood samples. Swelling of abdominal lymph nodes and tenderness, red and yellow urine, astringent and painful, nausea, dry mouth, red tongue, yellow and greasy coating, slow and rapid pulse.

Treatment: clear away heat and dampness, remove toxins and reduce swelling.

(3) Kidney Qi deficiency syndrome

Main symptoms: In the middle and late stages of the disease, the male genitals are swollen, the slough is enlarged, looking like a pomegranate, swelling and pain in the heart, hot flashes in the afternoon, night sweats, dry mouth and yellow urine, red tongue with little coating, and thready and rapid pulse.

(4) Qi and blood deficiency syndrome

Main symptoms: In the middle and late stages of the disease, the glans is ulcerated, with strange-smelling thick blood-like exudate. The sore skin is pink or light red, or brown and dull, or the hard lumps fall off, but no new flesh develops. The bilateral abdominal lymph nodes are significantly swollen and tender. Thinning, mental fatigue, physical fatigue, pale face, pale tongue with less coating, and deep and thready pulse.

Treatment: Nourish blood, remove toxins and resolve knots.

2． External treatment methods

(1) Surgical treatment: 1) Precancerous lesions of male genitalia, such as male genital leukoplakia, male genital horn, male genital papilloma, male genital proliferative erythema, male genital fibrous lump disease, etc., should be treated promptly or surgically. For patients with prepuce or long foreskin, circumcision should be performed before puberty. ； 2) For stage I or stage II penile cancer, partial male genital removal is performed based on the circumstances. If there is suspected groin cancer metastasis and the biopsy is positive, lymphadenectomy will be performed 3 weeks after the original cancer wound has been repaired. ； 3) For those whose cancer is too large or whose tumor is limited to the male genital trunk, male genital incision should be performed immediately. For those with groin cancer metastasis, inguinal lymph node and iliac vessel lymph node depletion should be performed in addition.

(2) Special drug therapy: 1) For patients with initial onset of cancer and no cancer metastasis, external application of traditional Chinese medicine can be used for conservative treatment.

3. Organic chemical therapy: (1) To treat precancerous lesions and early superficial cancers, 5% fluorouracil cream can be applied externally, or 5% fluorouracil solution can be applied to the face. (2) If the cancer is more localized, 3 to 5 mg of ticamycin should be injected at the base of the cancer once every other day for one month. (3) For those who have cancer or have migrated, after penile cancer removal, use 15-3b 250g of ticamin, once a day or once every other day, intramuscularly, with a total output of 300-600mg. Add 500 mg of thermobaric uracil to 500 ml of 5% glucose solution for intravenous infusion.

4． Other treatments
