Gynecological Health Conditioner Certificate

At present, there is no nationally unified "gynecological health conditioner" practice admission certificate in China. All relevant certificates circulating on the market are training qualifications/skill level certificates issued by industry associations and third-party professional skills evaluation agencies. They do not have statutory medical qualifications and cannot replace the qualification certificates of practicing doctors and nurses to engage in gynecological diagnosis and treatment.

Last year, when I was cooperating with a community hospital to popularize women's health science, I met several teachers who worked in confinement centers and health management institutions. More than half of them had taken this certificate. Everyone's evaluation of this certificate was completely polarized.

Sister Li, who has worked in a chain of postpartum repair centers for five years, is a firm believer in "being useful." She took the training certificate issued by the China Maternal and Child Health Association. She studied for more than two months at that time, and completed online courses on female physiological structure, basics of traditional Chinese medicine and gynecology, and common Theoretical courses on identification of gynecological symptoms include practical examinations of moxibustion acupoint selection, abdominal conditioning techniques, and postpartum rehabilitation guidance offline. There are also clear assessment red lines for "in which cases you must advise clients to go to the hospital and you must not do it yourself". After getting the certificate, the center directly gave her a basic salary increase of 800 yuan. She polished the frame of the certificate and hung it on the wall of the operation room. She also posted an eye-catching "Reminder for Seeking Medical Treatment for Abnormal Symptoms" next to it. Customers rarely asked "Do you know how to adjust" like before? This gave her a sense of trust. She herself said that the certification test is not about that piece of paper, but that after learning the system, she will no longer just copy sales words like when she first entered the industry. When customers complain of non-menstrual bleeding or lower abdominal pain for more than a week, she can accurately judge the risk and will not delay the patient's condition.

There are also many people who think this certificate is purely an IQ tax. My distant cousin wanted to join the industry the year before last. She went to an organization through a short video and found an organization that said "2980 yuan guaranteed, 3 days to get the certificate, valid nationwide." She immediately paid the money without even attending class. Half a month later, she actually received a gold-stamped red leather certificate. However, when she was looking for a job, the organization checked and found that the "National Health Industry Management Association" that issued the certificate was simply an unregistered copycat society.

To be honest, the value of this certificate depends entirely on the formality of the issuing agency and whether you have really learned something. I have sorted it out before for friends who want to join the industry. Currently, there are only two relatively reliable ones on the market: one is the training certificate issued by the formal maternal and child health industry association under the National Health Commission, and the other is the health manager (gynecological conditioning) skill level issued by a third-party professional skills evaluation agency registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Certificates, both types require 40-80 hours of study, and must take theory + practical exams. They cannot be obtained by just paying money. Many formal institutions will use these two types of certificates as a reference for priority admissions when recruiting for nursing positions - after all, being able to pass the exam at least shows that you have basic professional knowledge, and you do not need to start from scratch.

Nowadays, many people criticize this certificate. In fact, they are not criticizing the certificate itself, but those who use it to defraud. When we were doing science popularization before, we met an aunt who was deceived by the "conditioner" who ran a health center in the community, saying that she had severe "uterine cold" and needed more than 10,000 detoxification treatments. The person took out a gynecological health conditioner certificate from a pheasant institution, and dared to prescribe so-called "pure Chinese medicine detoxification pills". After the aunt finally took it, she became disordered and was hospitalized. This kind of people are the culprits who ruined the reputation of this certificate.

If you are originally engaged in women's health services or postpartum repair-related work, and want to systematically supplement your professional knowledge, or want to have another stepping stone when looking for a job, it is no problem to get a certificate from a formal institution. But if you have the idea of "you can open a shop to treat people with a license", I advise you to give up this idea as soon as possible. Not to mention that it is illegal to practice medicine without a medical qualification. If you really cause problems for people, you cannot bear the responsibility at all.

One last word, if you really want to take the certification test, go to the Ministry of Civil Affairs to check whether the industry association is officially registered before signing up. For third-party evaluation agencies, go to the Skilled Talent Evaluation Network of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security to check whether it has been registered. Anyone who says "no exam required", "guaranteed", "can practice medicine with a certificate", just turn around and walk away, it is definitely a trap.
