Gynecological Health Management Center

The Gynecological Health Management Center is not an extension of the gynecological clinic that “goes only when you are sick”, but an integrated service carrier of prevention, intervention and rehabilitation that covers the reproductive health needs of women of all ages throughout their life cycle – from a 12-year-old girl who has just had her menarche to a 70-year-old man who has been through menopause for ten years, even if you do not have any obvious illness, you can find appropriate health support here.

Last week, I met a little girl who had just entered college. She lingered at the door for 20 minutes with her schoolbag strap in hand before she came in. She said that her menstrual cramps were so painful that she couldn't go to military training, but she didn't dare to go to the general gynecology department for fear that the doctor would ask if she had sex in front of other people. She was even more afraid of being told that "every little girl just tolerates her menstrual cramps and gets over it." We performed a B-ultrasound on her to rule out organic disease, and after confirming that it was physiological dysmenorrhea, we prescribed an analgesic regimen suitable for her constitution. We also gave her a half-day lecture on menstrual care and contraceptive related science. The little girl’s face was pale when she left, and she said that she didn’t need to be shy at all to see the gynecologist.

Speaking of which, there is currently no unified conclusion on the boundaries of gynecological health management in the industry. One group takes a purely medical route and believes that all services must be strictly anchored to clinical indications and cannot touch any "non-medical" content. Emotional counseling and lifestyle guidance are dispensable add-ons. The core is to solve the real disease problem. ; The other group prefers whole-person care, believing that gynecological problems are deeply tied to emotions, living environment, and hormone levels. For example, many menopausal women suffer from hot flashes and insomnia. Their hormone levels are actually within the normal range, but they cannot get around it emotionally. If you don’t provide her with psychological counseling, she will not feel at ease even if she is prescribed hormone drugs. Our center is currently working on a compromise, taking care of both ends, and doing both as long as it is good for users.

I have stayed at the center for almost 7 years, and the one who impressed me most was a 28-year-old Internet operator who suffered from fungal vaginitis over and over again for half a year. He was prescribed medicines from the general outpatient clinic three or four times, but he was cured after taking them, but he relapsed within two weeks of stopping. After coming to our place, we followed her living habits for half a month: working overtime until two or three in the morning every day, having iced milk tea for afternoon tea, throwing underwear in the dryer for two hours after washing. Sometimes she was in a hurry and couldn't even wait for it to dry, so she put them on half-wet. In addition to the regular medication plan, we made a very simple adjustment plan for her: drink up to two cups of iced drinks per week, dry her underwear in a ventilated place for two hours after washing, and take 10 minutes a day to go downstairs and take two steps to improve her immunity. After adjusting like this for more than two months, she later specially sent us milk tea and said she never relapsed.

Don't think we only deal with these small problems here. A young girl in her early twenties comes for pre-HPV vaccination screening and menstrual problems adjustment ; For working women in their thirties, full-cycle assessment before pregnancy preparation, screening for pelvic floor muscle relaxation caused by prolonged sitting, and treatment of menstrual disorders ; Perimenopausal women in their forties, hot flashes and night sweats intervention, osteoporosis prevention ; Even if you are an aunt in her sixties, we can take care of problems such as urine leakage and senile vaginitis that you are too embarrassed to tell your family.

Oh, by the way, I must say one more thing here. There are too many institutions on the market now with the banner of "gynecological health management". There are so many hypes about "ovarian massage", "private parts care" and "private anti-aging". When you go there, first check to see if there is a "Practice License for Medical Institutions" and whether the operator has the qualifications of a nurse or doctor. Those who sell you a package worth tens of thousands of yuan at the beginning and say that you are "infertile if the uterine cold is severe" are 100% scam. Don't believe it. In our regular center, all items are clearly marked with prices. We will explain everything clearly to you whether you need to do it and what is the use of doing it. We will not force you to spend money.

In fact, the longer I work in this field, the more I feel that many women have really deep misunderstandings about gynecological health. They either think that there is no problem if there is no pain or itching, or they think that seeing a gynecologist is a shameful thing. We run this center because we want to give all women a space to relax. Even if you have nothing wrong with you and just want to ask "Can you eat ice during pregnancy?" "Is it okay to bleed during ovulation?" "Does HPV vaccination eliminate the need for screening?" You can come in freely. We will sit down and explain to you slowly. Don't panic or be embarrassed.
