Cervical erosion and bleeding can be treated with local medication, laser treatment, cryotherapy, microwave treatment, surgery, etc. Cervical erosion and bleeding are usually related to changes in estrogen levels, chronic cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, cervical polyps, cervical cancer and other factors.
1. Topical medication treatment
When the amount of cervical erosion and bleeding is small, you can use Baofukang suppository, Xiaomi suppository, recombinant human interferon α2b vaginal effervescent tablets and other drugs as directed by your doctor. Baofukang Suppository contains ingredients such as Zedoary Curcuma Oil, which can improve local microcirculation and promote tissue repair. Xiaomi Suppository has the effect of clearing away heat and drying dampness, and is suitable for patients with increased secretions. Sexual intercourse should be avoided during medication to prevent secondary infection.
2. Laser treatment
Carbon dioxide laser is suitable for large-scale cervical erosion and bleeding, and uses thermal effects to vaporize and peel off the diseased tissue. Vaginal discharge may occur after treatment, and bathing and sexual intercourse must be prohibited during the wound healing period within 1-2 months. Laser treatment has less impact on fertility, but may cause complications such as cervical stenosis.
3. Cryotherapy
Liquid nitrogen freezing can cause the tissue in the cervical erosion and bleeding area to freeze, necrosis and fall off. This method is easy to operate and less painful, but the amount of vaginal discharge after treatment is larger and needs to last for 2-3 weeks. The freezing depth is difficult to control, and over-treatment may lead to cervical insufficiency, so nulliparous women should choose carefully.
4. Microwave treatment
The thermal effect generated by microwaves can cause coagulation and degeneration of cervical erosion and bleeding lesions. This method has good hemostatic effect and low risk of postoperative bleeding, but may cause discomfort such as lower abdominal distension. The recommended treatment time is 3-7 days after menstruation, and the wound healing needs to be reviewed 2 months after surgery.
5. Surgical treatment
Cervical conization is suitable for cases combined with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and pathological examination is performed by removing the diseased tissue. Lip knife surgery has less bleeding and can preserve fertility, but cervical adhesion may occur after surgery. After all surgical treatments, HPV and TCT must be reviewed regularly to monitor changes in the condition.
Patients with cervical erosion and bleeding need to change pure cotton underwear every day and wash the vulva with warm water and avoid using irritating lotions. The diet should increase the intake of high-quality protein and vitamin C, such as eggs, broccoli, etc., to promote mucosal repair. Avoid swimming and bathing within six months, and take protective measures when having sex. If you have fever, abdominal pain, or a sudden increase in bleeding, you should seek medical attention immediately to check for infection or progression of cervical lesions.
