To put it simply, the relationship between the two is to include and be included - muscle gain is a highly directional subdivision among the many goals of men's fitness, while men's fitness is a larger category that covers all sports and health appeals. If you are aiming to gain muscle, the requirements are much more detailed. You must prepare a differentiated training plan in advance. The chest, shoulders, back, legs and arms are cycled weekly. The weight must be stuck in the 8-12RM range for each group (that is, the weight that is just about the 12th rep). The interval between groups must be one and a half minutes at most. After training, You also have to supplement carbohydrates and protein carefully. You have to eat enough protein of 1.6-2.2g per kilogram of body weight every day, and you have to maintain a slight calorie surplus. You even have to sleep for more than 7 hours to build muscles. The error tolerance rate of a set process is much lower than that of casual exercise.
But the two have never been separated. To put it bluntly, muscle building is the most filled fruit in the big basket of male fitness. Most men just start to get involved in fitness, and their original intention is somewhat related to muscle building-either they want to wear an oversize T-shirt that will not collapse like a sack, or they want to have clear shoulder lines and abdominal muscles if they take off their shirts in summer. Even if your fitness goal is not to gain latitude at all, doing some proper resistance training to build muscle is only beneficial. My friend who is a horse racer always suffered from knee pain when running. Later, the team doctor asked him to add leg and hip strength training twice a week. After the muscle mass increased, the joints stabilized a lot. Last year's half marathon score improved by 11 minutes, which is also due to muscle building training.
There are indeed a lot of controversies in the circle now. One group always says that "men's fitness is in vain if they don't build muscle." They think that spending time in the gym without developing latitude lines is a waste of time. In fact, there is nothing wrong with both statements. After all, fitness is a matter that completely serves personal needs. Just like when you go to a large supermarket, you can go to buy fresh food, or you can just buy a bottle of iced drink on the way. There is no need to have unified standards, right?
